"I wanted to take a minute to thank the person who recommended Dr Eduardo Vela to
me and also tell everyone how much I liked him. He specializes in upper
extremities,hands,shoulders etc.(no hips, knees). I had a small bone broken in
my left hand,as far as I knew. I went to several doctors,including Dr Schmidt,
who just "poo-pooed" it and said basically I had to live w/it. Dr Vela took more
x-rays from different angles and discovered much more. I ended up having a bone
floating around, a bone that was split and a large cyst. He operated Tuesday and
it already feels better, like it is healing properly.

He is working w/me also on my other shoulder that he thinks does not need
surgery in spite of other doctor´s prognosis. I think he is a wonderful surgeon
and a caring and honorable person."
